"Our Daddy may have only had a third grade education, but he could read the King James Bible, " says Helen Ashe. He taught us three things: 1. There is but one race-- the human race. 2. There is but one Father--the Heavenly Father. 3. Never take the last piece of bread from the table. (Helen Ashe co-founder of the Love Kitchen)"

National Delurking Week~
It's National Delurking Week Here in the Blogosphere! Please leave a comment and a Link to your Blog (if you have one). I 'd love to stop by and say "Hey!"
Hi Renee, I'm a total lurker..unmasked! ahh! :) I love reading about your beautiful family. We are a homeschooling family-2 girls, 6.5 and 4, and a new baby due in August. We dream of, long for, hope to adopt from Ethiopia after this one. (my hubby was born there, which makes it sort of neat!) We use Sonlight, and I think that's where I found you. There you are, a lurker identified. I am at www.feetontheroad.blogspot.com I have to warn you, right now with this puky feeling all day I am a sporadic blogger. :) Darci
OK, I'll post a comment instead of just lurk...I love getting comments, but I'm so bad at giving them. We have 6 children (one adopted from Vietnam) whom we homeschool. I found your blog because adopting from Ethiopia is an idea that hovers in the back of my head.
I've been reading your blog for quite awhile now. We have 2 children adopted from Guatemala and we homeschool. We are looking to adopt from Liberia or Ethiopia this coming year...praying hard about it and definitely feeling led to. :) My blog is www.homeschoolblogger.com/homekeeper4him
You know, Renee, I don't think that I'm a lurker, but I can't remember if I've ever commented or not. I got to your blog through the AAI list when we adopted our little guy, right around when you went to pick up Wee Babe. And if I haven't yet commented, shame on me! I love your blog.
Hi Renee! I have become totally addicted to your blog. I think it was last week when I started at the beginning and worked my way to now, but I've been reading recent posts since September (I think). We are adopting from Ethiopia (www.bringbabyhome.blogspot.com) sometime this year and I think got your link from Heather and Avery. Like Chris said above, I love your stories and pictures, but especially your spirit.
Oh, and send the posse! Those cowboys are too cute to resist!
Hi! We are adopting two little ones from Liberia. Your blog caught my eye because one of my all time favorite books is Stepping Heavenward! :-) I have loved reading about your dear family! You can read about ours at
Hi Renee! I'm a blogless lurker from SL-land. :o) Your blog is one of my favorites to read; I check in often for updates on your beautiful family! You inspire me with your sweet, cheerful, and seemingly tireless spirit. I've prayed for you and your little ones often~
I just stumbled on your blog today through this chain of sites: blog search > "pages turned" blog > "Writing and Living" blog > Heth's blog (I forget what it's called > your blog! I clicked on your profile randomly when I was looking through Heth's comments. The picture of you and your son intrigued me. Your children are beautiful. My husband and I have looked into adoption, and we pray that God works that out for our future family.
I'm a first-time mom of an 11-week-old boy and basking in the joy of the wonderful new life change. I see you have a newborn in the house, too. Congratulations!
I'd love to have you visit my blog if you're interested: www.clbeyer.blogspot.com
Hi I decided to delurk. I've followed your blog for many months and although I have no children adoption is very important to me. I love coming to your page and reading some of your past blogs to read your testimonies of patience and trusting in the Lord. I came across your page at just the right time one day. I pray for your family often. God Bless
I just found your blog recently and have enjoyed it very much. I homeschool and have 3 girls (7,5,3). We are hoping for another bio baby this year and then to adopt at least 2 boys from Ethiopia. I am inspired by your family and would love to know you! I also have 2 burning questions- how did you finance your adoption and what on earth do you drive? I am at toanaviator.blogspot.com

I see your cowboy no longer has a fever. I guess the Gatorade & crown worked.
I saw a blogger named Curryseven. I feel so handicapped with being the Curryfour. :o)
I'm not a lurker. More like a stalker. ha ha
