All were a big hit. I tried to upload a video of them doing the Wii, but Blogger wouldn't cooperate. They were so funny. They love boxing.. or as they would say boX-inG.
Their English is really sweet. They emphasize each syllable.. Joel is Jo-eL and Eben ezer is EB-eN-E-zeR. They understand quite a bit of English, and are communicating really well. They do sometimes speak to one another in Ga, and I would love to know what they are saying or maybe I wouldn't ;o)
Now that they have known how to ride a bike for a whole week they are attempting tricks while riding.
I took the older 7 for a bike ride around the neighborhood on Saturday evening ( I felt just like Julie Andrews in the Sound of Music ;o) and as we rounded the corner to our house Joel began chanting "Home, Home, we are home." I am so happy he thinks of this as home.
Joel also loves to say Mama. He is so funny.
He also loves meatballs. He calls them round cheek-in (chicken)..By far their favorite dinner I have made is meatballs in tomato sauce with a large heaping of cayenne pepper served over rice.
Eben has been eating a lot of food. I am so glad.
I had planned on easing into homeschooling very slowly with them, but last week it became clear that they felt like they were missing out on not doing formal school. Eben really enjoys math, and worked very hard on a few math sheets today.
The boys enjoy looking at pictures of their cousins, and love to see what they are doing..
We also have been keeping up with Francis and are praying Kurt will be bringing him home this week.
When I told the boys that Rita and Rachel had a family Eben said.."This is good. Very, very, good." They loved the pics of them with their Welcome Bags.
They want all for their friends from Eban House to come to America. They really love them.
These are very blessed days. We pray all of the families awaiting their children will be united soon.
Wii!
S'Mores!
Sweet Pea and the "Paparazzi"
How blessed I am to have my hands full :o)
Everyone should enjoy math so ...

What cute boys! I am so happy for you. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
I read your post about the dry skin. Try Eucerin lotion if you haven't already. The cream is really expensive but works great on dry skin.

I don't know you or your family, but just seeing those pictures of you with the boys brings me to tears. What a blessing. You have an amazing family. My husband and I have two children and one on the way and we hope to adopt in the future. I know God is pleased when He looks at your family.
Precious! It thrills my heart to see the boys adjusting so well. You are one blessed mama! I love how happy they look.
