Psalm 100:1-5~

We were to spend this weekend with my family at our Thanksgiving reunion. Unfortunately, I have been quite sick for the past two weeks so we were unable to make the trip :o(

We are missing our family greatly today and we wish we were there. You are ALL on our hearts and in our prayers. We love you SO and we WILL see you soon!

The Lord has given us much to be thankful for this day!

We are thankful for time spent in the sun..

And we are thankful for spoons needing to be licked..

We are thankful for the fellowship of those we love..

And that our bowls runneth over...

We are thankful for many eager hands and joyful hearts...
And for little ones to snuggle..
And tonight as we head off to bed we are most thankful for Jesus!

He is GOOD and His love endures forever.

We hope everyone had a blessed day!

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.

Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.

Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.

For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.

My friend patjrsmom from "Building the Ark"

posted this awesome video on her blog of Mark Richt and his family. Mark is the head coach of the University of Ga. football team, and you may recognize him from "Facing the Giants".

Seeing this makes me feel a little badly for the pounding Florida put on Georgia last weekend. ..a little ;o) Just kidding. I love my Georgia family and friends!

What an awesome testimony to the Providence of God!

Did You Vote?

What an exciting day here in America! We the people of the USA get to choose the next President.

What an awesome opportunity. It is an opportunity many have died to give us, and an opportunity many around the world do not have.

I hear talk in the media of what an ugly and divisive election this is. I suppose it's all a matter of perspective....

When I voted today it was without fear. I cast my vote without fear of repercussion or threat of harm to me or my family. There are many around the world who can not say the same.

I can turn on my TV or radio or read on the internet opinions from the left the right the middle. People are free to express their views. People are free to express displeasure with their government. Many around the world don't have that chance, and if they dare they can be harmed or even killed.

If citizens choose to demonstrate after the election they can do so without fear of being gunned down or imprisoned without due course. Many around the world can't.

Today we will witness history being made. We will either have the first black man in the Executive branch of government or the first woman. This is something our grandparents couldn't have even fathomed.

Today is a great day in America!

Oh and as if you needed another reason to vote you can get free food a Chik Fil-A, Krispy Kreme, Starbucks, Ben and Jerry's by telling them you voted.

I love America!

Have a blessed day!

Trunk or Treat~

Here are some pics from our church's "Trunk or Treat!"

Some of us were "Trunkers"
Some of us were "Treaters"

Quite a few of us were "Eaters"....

We had Slushies...
And Cotton Candy...

Sweet Pea had her first encounter with "The Loillipop"..She had green..which she found quite dandy..

She had purple and wondered where the lollis had been all her life..
She shared her Lollis without strife..
And just when we thought the Lollipop gluttony would never end..

Daddy introduced her to "The Turkey Leg"

.. Alas another obsession was born..

And here, in case you were wondering, is what Batman looks like after*** way*** too much candy corn!
