"Our Daddy may have only had a third grade education, but he could read the King James Bible, " says Helen Ashe. He taught us three things: 1. There is but one race-- the human race. 2. There is but one Father--the Heavenly Father. 3. Never take the last piece of bread from the table. (Helen Ashe co-founder of the Love Kitchen)"

We have had kind of a crazy week here this week. The Little Fella has been feeling poorly and wants Mama to hold him all the time..which is fine by me... except that leaves other areas of life.. like ..Blogging.... lacking.

Here are some really thought provoking Blog Posts I have enjoyed reading ~

~Joy asks the question Do you WANT to have your eyes opened or do you prefer not to know?

~Sophie shares how her Mom helped her learn The Gift of Compassion

~Over at the Land of Lohrer the discussion is about Broken Cookies

And

Heather shares about Explaining Color to her African daughter

I have also been reading and enjoying Mary Ostyn's book about raising a large family. Many of you know Mary from reading her Blog Owlhaven. I hope to write a review of it next week.

Blessings!~

Jim's tongue matches your shirt nicely. (Love your sandels)

Sorry to hear that little man isn't feeling well. I pray its not swine flu (kidding). We want him feeling better so you can make it to church and get your flowers for Mother's Day. :o)

How cool that Mary is publishing a book & you will be writing a review. You should be writing a few chapters with her. :o)

Renee,

Gifty saw the picture of your baby. She said "AWW, the baby is so cute, he looks like E (from Ghana)"

LOL!
