"Our Daddy may have only had a third grade education, but he could read the King James Bible, " says Helen Ashe. He taught us three things: 1. There is but one race-- the human race. 2. There is but one Father--the Heavenly Father. 3. Never take the last piece of bread from the table. (Helen Ashe co-founder of the Love Kitchen)"

I was so touched last week when I discovered this letter our nine year old daughter made for her younger brother while he was sick.  I thought it was so sweet she included a Bible verse.

A few days later we were putting together our Operation Christmas Child Boxes.  The children were making pictures to put in the box.  Whenever they ask me what they should draw when they are sending pictures to someone I always say, "Draw something that would make you smile if you received it in the mail."  In my mind that is pictures of rainbows, sunshine, flowers, trees, sailboats, Christmas Trees..

Here is what our 7 yo ds drew...

A Great White Shark who is about to eat a crab..

It makes him smile.  To him vicious sharks =rainbows .

You are so right -- Best. Job. Ever. So sweet the little note!

Just an FYI, if you click the letter, you are able to read the names. I know you are careful to be anonymous here.....maybe you can block the names in photoshop somehow?

Still very sweet!!

Isn't that the truth...I have a little one right now that we are sure is going to grow up with a huge amount of strength to be used for HIS glory.

For my 10 yr old, it would have been bombers from WW2. That makes him happy.

Love you guys!
