Psalm 118:24~

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24~

Today was our first outing together as a family of 14 since the Little Fella arrived..

Can I just say...I just love his little face. How is it I have only seen it for 10 days. It feels like it has been burned on my heart forever.

He is such a relaxed and laid back little guy but his little brows are always knit together like he is in deep thought. I think he is solving the financial crisis..
So, we headed out for pizza..

And then to "The Wal-Mart"~

Hmm.. What could have captured the boys attention here...

Video Games? CD's? DVD's? Tools? B.B. Guns?
This looks important..
You can see they are REALLY focused here..
On which sparkle shoes would best suit Sweet Pea!!!!! They crack me up. This Girl has each of the males wrapped tightly around her little fingers.

We always get a lot of looks and some interesting questions..

Just today we were asked..

If we were an organization..
Which ones were really ours..
If we really liked children..
Why we don't have a reality show..

There were a few others I can't think of now..People are generally very sweet and sincere,

We had a lot of fun..and a lot of laughs.

This afternoon Uncle Tony and Miss Alexis joined us and our crazy gang for the weekend..

Truly a blessed day! :o)

Jeremiah 33:3~

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jeremiah 33:3~

Here is a picture of my wonderful cousin Deborah and her two children from Ghana. She was able to spend several days with them in Ghana in February and then she had to leave them and return home while she awaited approval from the US Embassy.

Happily she received word two weeks ago that their case had been approved and their Visas could be applied for (Praise the LORD!!!) but sadly Little Man's passport has gone missing at the Ghanaian passport office. I can't even imagine how frustrating this little glitch is for her when all she longs to do is bring them home. Please pray that Little Man's new passport would be issued ASAP so these babies can come home to their Mama and Daddy and siblings who so long for them.

I don't believe I have shared here how these children came to be adopted by my Cousin Deborah and her husband Travis. It truly is a testimony to the sovereignty of God !

Last June when we learned that Social Welfare in Ghana felt we had too many children to adopt Eben and Joel's brother and sister I was truly heartsick. Jim had called to share the news with me from work on Friday and for the next 24 hours I was just deeply saddened. I couldn't even pick up the phone to tell my Mom or my close friends or family. I knew if I did I would start to cry and I didn't think if I started crying that I would ever stop.

The next day was Saturday and Jim took the older children to the pool in the late afternoon while I played with the Wee Boy and Sweet Pea and their sand and water table. I was sitting on the patio watching them when the phone rang. It was my Cousin Deborah. As long as I live I will never forget the first words out of her mouth... "Renee, What's WRONG? The Lord has laid you on my heart so heavily today and the girls finally told me to call you. Is everything o.k.?" Oh how wonderful is our God that He cares so much! What a sweet Cousin I have to respond to the Lord's prompting so.

I told her our hard news and she quietly said, "Well, we'll just have to adopt them." This made me smile and I said "You may want to ask Travis about this first." She said, "No, I know he'll agree this is family, and this is what we'll do." (Which is exactly what he said!)

What is really so cool about this is Deborah and Travis had been preparing for this adoption without knowing it. They had put in an application with AAI six months prior and had been approved and had completed all of the preadoption training. They had thought they would adopt from Ethiopia, but then sensed the Lord telling them to wait. Little did they know the Lord was preparing them to adopt these two from Ghana! They couldn't have been more perfectly situated to start this adoption.

God has truly manifested Himself in each step of this process. We know this is all under His Feet and the last step will fall into place. He has done so many wondrous things and we give Him all the Praise and the Glory for all he has done!!!

I love my Mom...

I love my Mom~
My Mom is cool~

Any other Sid the Science Kid Fans out there? I love that show and I love the "I love my Mom song".

I do love my Mom and she IS very COOL. She only has one day off this week and she drove 5 hours in one day just to meet the the Little Fella.
She brought him some cute little clothes..

And spoiled us by buying pizza for the whole gang.

She and this little guy tied in Wii bowling..

And she doled out lots of kisses and love.

I love my Mom.

My Mom is COOL :o)

Romans 1:20~

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. Romans 1:20~

Scripture tells us that all of creation is a display of the power and the divinity of God. I know that every time I am at the beach and watch the ocean I am in awe of the power and might of our Creator. When my children bring me a flower I marvel at the symmetry and perfection and I am in wonder of the greatness of God. Looking at a newborn baby I am simply breathless at the majesty of God. It is so wonderful to witness our children marveling at our new Little Fella and in turn worshiping God.

I was so tickled to find our 14 yo ds in my room yesterday just staring at his new brother. He told me he just couldn't stop looking at him and that Little Fella was just "awesome". We agreed together that God does amazing work and we worshiped Him. What a JOY!

I pray each one of today will see the God behind our beautiful world and worship Him.

Psalm 13:6~

I will sing to the LORD,
for he has been good to me. Psalm 13:6~

The Little Fella has arrived!

This past Wed. we went to the hospital to meet the newest member of our family!

Jim kept taking pictures of me walking into the hospital. It felt like my first day of school all over again.

The nurses smiled and asked us if this was our first baby. hee, hee..

At 1:08 p.m. our sweet son was born! It is always just breathtaking to see how perfectly the Lord creates His children.

Our Sweet Boy was 8lbs. 3 oz and 20 inches long...black hair and blue eyes. Such a Sweet Little Blessing!

He has many admirers, and is loved by one and all..

We are *SO* happy to be home with our new "Little Fella".. We are humbled an awed that God would bless us with him.

Thank you ALL so much for the love and the prayers. As you all know , this was a very difficult pregnancy. I feel like I physically carried this Sweet Boy and that Jim, my precious cousin Noel, Our Sweet Children, our Family, our Church Family, and all of our Friends carried me. Thank you so much for the love and the prayers and the support!
