The Meeting.

The meeting was called to order..

It appears to be a serious matter...

And plastic shovels are involved...

Suddenly I hear "1, 2, 3 ..It's Showtime!" and they break off on a mission..

A Mission involving what? I giggle and wonder if they are plotting an escape.. or a Coup..Ha, ha.

Nope. "We are banging our shovels to scare away the Mountain Lions, Mama.."

Can you guess what movie they saw over the weekend?

I love them. I love the way they love each other. I love the way they band together and stand together against their imagined opponent...and I pray that they will always be shoulder to shoulder fighting the one the Bible calls the Lion. The one who comes to rob and steal. May they bang the truth of the Gospel all of their days..together.

That can't possibly be your "baby" in the first picture, can it? Time sure does fly!

I just found your blog on the Ethiopian Adoption Blogs... Your family is beautiful! We have three kids - two birth and one adopted and we are in the process of adopting twins from Ethiopia... We'll hopefully be getting our referral any day now :)
Blessings.

Lately, ours have been playing 'Survive the shark attack' on the raft in the pool *or* Survivor Kids where they look around the yard for things to make into beds, food or to start fire. One day, I really am going to start a fire without matches or the butane stick. ;o)

What a precious life lesson one can glean from your children's play....

They joined together to battle an *unseen* enemy. This one preaches!!

Blessings,
Debbie

Yes, it was the original Parent Trap movie that inspired them. So funny the things they pick up on.

Monica, that is my baby. He wants so badly to be big.

Amen to your prayer!

Oh, how very, very dear.

Forgot to cheer for you having all 12 kids smiling and 11/12 of them looking at the camera. Please tell me how you did it?
