Wonderful video. We are not actively pursuing adoption but we are open to one more boy between the twin's and Jasmine's ages or just younger than the twins.
But I really don't think I can go through all the paperwork of another international adoption. We have to pay someone to fly here to do the homestudy because there is no one local.
I would be open to adopting through the state though. We've been trying to certify for foster care but our last state won't send our records and FL won't proceed without them!
What a precious, precious video. As a momma of three boys (but none adopted),I can only say a most hearty AMEN! to every word spoken, and add that my first and immediate thought to the line "every boy needs a momma" was to say, "Oh, no! It's that every momma needs a boy...." Well, obviously the boy needs a momma too, but what a gift moms get when given a son.
Love love love that you are posting this. Praying for the boys the world over to find their mommas, and the waiting mommas to find their sons.
Love it! We just added 2 more boys to our crew :)
I'm bawling. My oldest spent years in an orphanage, and his ONLY fault was that he was a boy. He's an amazing teenager and I cannot imagine my life without him. All three of our adoptions were boys, in part BECAUSE it's so hard for boys to find families.
I'm now the mother of 5 sons and 3 daughters. If there are more children in our future, they will be via adoption, and I cannot fathom they would be anything but boys. As the sister and mother of boys via adoption, I feel very keenly how hard it is for boys to find families and how easy it is for me to be willing to love and mother sons.
Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!
I'm so ready. Praying for the wonderful head of my home to be.
