1 Timothy 4:8~

We had a very fun, but busy Saturday! Several of the children had a 5k race while our son and ad some of our elder children had TKD. Our son was testing and our elder children were judging the competition. It was a little hectic as Jim had to work, but with God's grace we did it all, and didn't get lost. Although, I did spend quite a bit of time talking smack to the GPS and it's recalculating self. Am I the only one who has a love hate relationship with this little piece of technology? They all did so well!
I love to watch our son in the grey run. He has such drive.
Part of our cheering squad.
Cheering can make you thirsty.
Sam-Sam went crazy for the slide at the race. He was hilarious just giggling and running back for more.
Breaking some wood.
A pretty new belt! I was so proud of all of our children for giving everything they had in their competitions. I was most proud of their sweet hearts and tender spirits. The Christian race is the one with eternal value. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. 1 Timothy 4:8~

I have fond memories of a busy Saturday ... about 14 years ago.

I had 6 kids playing on 5 baseball teams (plus 2 preschool cheerleaders). Each team had 2 games on Opening Day. My husband had to work.

We left home at 7:30 am and returned at 9:30 pm. I attended at least part of each game. The games were held at different fields all over town, so I drove 75 miles without ever going more than 5 miles from home.

And ... I had fun. I seriously enjoyed the day, and even took all of the kids out for dinner (at a nice restaurant) at the end of the day.

Fun memories!

Laurel :)

Love the story of your day! You are a talented bunch!

Our interim preacher drives in from another city and he uses his GPS, he calls Darlene. (He's from West Virginia.) Darlene leads him astray all the time.

She ends up being in his sermons from time to time. ;o)
